About The Position

Performs advanced procurement and acquisition analysis by collecting customer requirements, identifying procurement issues, and improving sourcing strategy, reporting, and data integrity to meet mission needs. A government contract requires that this position be restricted to U.S. citizens or legal permanent residents. You must provide documentation that you are a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident to qualify. This position is pending a contract award, and applications are being accepted for this future and anticipated need.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience supporting procurement, acquisition, contract support, or purchasing operations
  • Experience collecting requirements and producing procurement/acquisition reports for stakeholders
  • Strong ability to analyze requirements, identify gaps, and recommend corrective actions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft® Office suite (Word®, Outlook®, Excel®, PowerPoint®)
  • Ability to learn and use government/proprietary procurement systems and reporting tools as required
  • Strong writing skills for SOPs, manuals, and process documentation
  • Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
  • Must be a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Supply Chain, Finance, Public Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

Responsibilities

  • Collecting, validating, and documenting customer requirements to support timely procurement actions
  • Identifying procurement issues, risks, and constraints that may affect acquisition strategy and execution
  • Analyzing and troubleshooting acquisition requirement packages to ensure completeness and traceability
  • Identifying procurement data sources and improving methods for procurement strategy, analysis, and reporting
  • Assisting in the development and design of reports and dashboards to support acquisition analysis needs
  • Supporting the development of procedures, manuals, job aids, and other materials to improve procurement systems and workflows
  • Coordinating with stakeholders to resolve data discrepancies, clarify requirements, and support decision-making
  • Performs other job-related duties as assigned
