About The Position

The Procurement Specialist is responsible for sourcing materials, negotiating with suppliers, managing purchase orders, and ensuring timely delivery of components required for custom manufacturing projects. This role plays a critical part in maintaining production schedules and controlling project costs.

Requirements

3+ years of purchasing or procurement experience
Manufacturing environment experience
Strong organizational and analytical skills
Experience working with vendors and suppliers
Proficiency with Google Suite & Monday, or ability to learn quickly

Nice To Haves

Experience purchasing construction materials, fabricated components, electrical components, or industrial equipment
Experience with inventory management systems
Ability to read engineering drawings and specifications

Responsibilities

Source materials, components, and services
Issue and manage purchase orders
Develop and maintain supplier relationships
Negotiate pricing and lead times
Monitor inventory levels and material requirements
Coordinate closely with warehouse operations, engineering, production, and project management teams
