Requirements

  • One year of experience performing technical purchasing or contract management work
  • A bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, logistics, project, or operations management, or a related field; or An equivalent combination of experience and training.
  • Must be able to perform essential job functions.

Responsibilities

  • Apply procurement rules to guide purchasing decisions and support staff
  • Manage bid reviews, contract actions, and related procurement steps
  • Address vendor performance concerns and recommend corrective actions
  • Assist small businesses with registration, opportunities, and outreach activities
  • Use procurement systems to track activity, review funding, and maintain documentation
  • Work with legal, fiscal, and program staff to resolve issues and improve processes
