About The Position

This position is responsible for coordination, validation and analysis of the complete item life cycle from initial procurement, utilization, and contract renewals. The Procurement and Sourcing Analyst is responsible for analyzing current buying and utilization trends and presenting opportunities for cost savings system wide. This person is responsible for maintaining accurate pricing information in the MMIS system and working with Vendors directly.

Requirements

  • Bachelor degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Mathematics, History or a related field

  • Two (2) years Healthcare Supply Chain environment experience
  • Certified Materials and Resource Professional (CMRP)

Responsibilities

  • Coordinates value analysis projects, ensuring alignment across inventory, MMIS updates, preference cards, and vendor contracts.
  • Monitors item utilization and supplier KPIs, maintaining databases of standard supplies and supporting formulary development.
  • Manages pricing accuracy, including loading and analyzing agreements, and developing price change reports and scorecards.
  • Collaborates with internal teams, vendors, and distributors to support sourcing strategies, cost savings, and supplier performance.
  • Maintains accurate item master data and ensures confidentiality, data integrity, and compliance within MMIS systems.
