As a Procurement Project Management intern, you will support all procurement activities in assigned programs to assure readiness for pre-pilot, pilot, and execution. You will report to the Project Procurement - OMS Amer Regional Manager out of our Cranberry facility. This is a paid full-time remote position for the summer.
Requirements
- Pursuing a bachelor's degree in supply chain management or business degree with supply chain minor
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Completed Sophomore year of college
Responsibilities
- Support the daily activities for PPMs including help with the development of procurement strategies and plans together with Offer and Project Teams
- Support in the preparation and coordination of the request for interest (RFI) and quote (RFQ) process and establish sourcing strategies for suppliers and services
- Help prepare Proprietary Information Agreements (PIA)
- RFI and RFQ development and preparation, definition of commercial conditions
- Solicit quotations and analyze contract proposals while leading formulation of strategy and negotiation of pricing, delivery, terms and conditions to satisfy requirements for complex and specialized materials, equipment and services
- Support the analysis and the evaluation of all elements of cost for commodity groups to identify cost improvements
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Westinghouse's Procurement procedures
