The Policy Group of the Procurement Division has an opening for a Procurement Policy Analyst. The Policy Group develops policies and provides oversight in support of approximately $1 billion in annual procurement spend at LLNL. Procurement Policy Analysts provide advice and guidance to contracting officials, research and interpret statutes, regulations and prime contract requirements to apply to procurement policies and specific procurements. Procurement Policy Analysts also conduct compliance reviews, develop and manage procurement document templates, and serve as subject matter experts for wide range of procurements, including commercial products and services, construction, information technology, research and development, and custom fabrications, to name a few. Procurement Policy Analysts are part of a team that manages key components of the Laboratory’s purchasing system. This position will report to the Policy Group Leader.
