About The Position

Boeing Global Services (BGS) is looking for a Procurement Multi-fam Manager Level K, to join their team in Dallas, TX to lead the Vertical Lift Procurement Team. This role acts as an authorized agent of the company, responsible for managing all supplier-related activities and has the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements. The manager will oversee employees from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines involved in acquiring goods and services for company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, supply chain management and processes, and small business subcontracting. Responsibilities include developing and executing project and process plans, implementing policies and procedures, setting operational goals, acquiring resources, providing technical management of suppliers, leading process improvements, and developing/maintaining relationships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, and direct reports. The role also involves providing oversight and approval of technical approaches, products, and processes, as well as negotiation processes and related tools. Additionally, the manager will be responsible for managing, developing, and motivating employees.

Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in a leadership role (team leader, team manager , large scale cross functional project/program management, or formal manager experience) OR have completed the Boeing internal course “Exploring Leadership”.
  • 5+ years of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
