About The Position

QB Energy is looking for a Procurement Manager to partner with the leads of Drilling, Completions, Facilities, Construction, and Production Operations on QB’s multi-billion dollar spend — going beyond bidding to identify investment opportunities, adopt new tools, and mentor the team. Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, engineering, or a related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
• 10+ years of oil & gas procurement/supply chain experience.
• 3-4+ years leading sourcing or contract negotiation.
• Proficient in Excel/MS Office and Enverus OpenInvoice.
• Willingness to travel to field locations.

• Experience managing direct reports a plus.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build strategic vendor relationships.
• Proactive, coaching-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing, bidding, and contract negotiations for QB’s largest spend categories.
• Monitor market costs/trends and manage vendor relationships to drive outcomes beyond price.
• Standardize specs with technical teams and maintain visibility into logistics-yard inventory for sourcing decisions.
• Track cost, cycle time, and vendor performance metrics, and manage/mentor procurement staff.
• Oversee PO/contract approvals and OpenInvoice accuracy, ensuring sourcing/OSHA compliance.
