About The Position

The Procurement Manager is responsible for developing and executing the company’s sourcing and procurement strategy for non-asset purchasing to support operational excellence across all locations. This role oversees supplier relationships, purchasing processes, and cost of goods management for supplies, consumables, and services that support day-to-day operations — excluding rental inventory, equipment, and other capital assets.

Requirements

  • 5–8+ years of procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience.
  • Experience in event rentals, hospitality, furniture, manufacturing, retail, or related industries strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated success negotiating large supplier contracts and managing multi-location procurement.
  • Strategic sourcing and contract negotiation expertise.
  • Strong financial acumen and cost management capabilities.
  • Vendor relationship management and supplier development.
  • Data-driven decision making and analytical problem solving.
  • Excellent cross-functional leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, operationally complex environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a procurement plan aligned with company growth, operational needs, and service standards.
  • Lead sourcing initiatives for maintenance supplies, consumables, packaging, uniforms, and other operational materials that support the business — excluding rental inventory and equipment.
  • Build long-term vendor partnerships that support quality, reliability, innovation, and cost control.
  • Establish procurement policies, standards, and best practices across all locations.
  • Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with new and existing suppliers to secure favorable pricing, terms, and service levels.
  • Manage supplier performance including quality, delivery reliability, and responsiveness.
  • Maintain strategic partnerships with key manufacturers and distributors within the event and hospitality supply chain.
  • Monitor supplier risks and develop contingency sourcing strategies when needed.
  • Lead negotiations for supply agreements and multi-location purchasing contracts.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce cost of goods while maintaining product quality and service levels.
  • Partner with finance and operations leadership to manage procurement budgets and forecast purchasing needs.
  • Track and report procurement KPIs including cost savings, vendor performance, and purchasing efficiency.
  • Partner with warehouse, maintenance, and showroom teams to ensure purchased items meet operational needs and durability standards.
  • Support new market launches and facility openings with sourcing and procurement planning.
  • Implement and optimize procurement systems, purchasing workflows, and vendor management tools.
  • Develop reporting and analytics to improve demand planning, purchasing decisions, and supplier performance tracking.
  • Drive continuous improvement in procurement efficiency and transparency across the organization.
