About The Position

Are you a proactive and strategic thinker with a passion for procurement excellence? We are seeking a talented Procurement Manager to drive category strategies at the local level and lead buying activities for our organization. As the Procurement Manager, you will play a pivotal role in identifying opportunities for cost savings, service enhancements, and operational improvements. You will guide and mentor your local team, foster strong relationships across the business and with suppliers, and ensure the effective execution of procurement initiatives.

  • A well-rounded and experienced procurement professional with strong business acumen.
  • Data-driven and people-oriented decision maker.
  • Proven ability to lead and execute local category management strategies.
  • Dedicated team player who collaborates effectively with business and regional procurement teams.
  • Engaged partner capable of driving collaboration and achieving procurement objectives.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or a Technical field.
  • 5–8 years of procurement experience, with at least 3 years in people management.
  • Fluent written and verbal English; additional languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to participate in international projects.

Responsibilities

  • Execute defined category strategies locally, collaborating closely with the Local Category Manager and Divisional Procurement team.
  • Act as the lead buyer for the operating company, overseeing procurement activities across all channels.
  • Identify and enable cost reduction, cost avoidance, and service improvement opportunities.
  • Guide the local team in implementing procurement tactics to achieve measurable benefits.
  • Drive annual cost savings, margin improvements, and other procurement benefits through industry-leading techniques.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive Procurement Management dashboard, providing monthly reports on savings, benefits, and key initiatives.
  • Align procurement and portfolio strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Lead supplier negotiations, selection, evaluation, and relationship management to deliver value and growth.
  • Ensure profitability targets are met and exceeded.
  • Analyze market trends and business environments to optimize procurement performance.
  • Apply advanced procurement principles to achieve the best cost solutions.
