Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
  • 10+ years of relevant professional experience
  • Strong understanding of the procurement process at an operational and leadership level.
  • Experience in Supplier Negotiations & Sourcing Strategies
  • Demonstrated ability for independent thinking and multi-tasking.

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of Should Cost Modeling highly preferred
  • Project Management experience highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for multiple NPD/MCP Supply Chain projects, working with Platform NPD and cross-functional teams to build and execute project implementation plans for NPD, ETO, MCP (cost savings), and continuous improvement projects.
  • Coordinating with suppliers, commodity teams, purchasing, materials, operations, engineering, finance, quality, and field operations to complete projects and achieve expected benefits within project timeline.
  • Partnering with Platform teams to assist with projects charter, benefits, and resource requirements.
  • Active participant in sector/plant NPD/ETO/MCP gate reviews ensuring that required cross-functional resources are allocated to execute projects as outlined.
  • Monitoring active projects, updating status, eliminating roadblocks, and escalating issues as appropriate.
  • Investigating, coordinating and communicating project changes.
  • Creating and making revisions to project schedules, business cases, risk assessments and other project management tools.
  • Creating and conducting presentations for project approvals and monthly status.
  • Identifying gaps to goals and collaboratively developing and supporting countermeasures and activities to close the gap and exceed targets.
  • Supporting the development of the Annual Operating Plan for Projects, productivity projects, targets and initiatives in support of NPD/ETO/MCP Projects and Platforms.
  • Supporting standard setting process for responsible plants within the NPD/ETO/MCP Process.
