Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related discipline)
  • Must have 7+ years of progressive procurement experience with strong expertise in indirect categories, supplier management, and contract negotiation
  • Strong analytical, stakeholder engagement, and change management skills.
  • Collaborative, influential leader with a bias for action and a passion for delivering results
  • Strong working knowledge and experience in key procurement areas including: Facilities contracts, Capex, lab testing and GMP procurement practices, Cost Modeling and Contracting
  • Expertise in successfully executing Supplier Management programs

Nice To Haves

  • Master’s or certifications preferred
  • Experience in capital procurement, facilities categories, and/or corporate real estate programs is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Lead indirect and lab related services and consumables procurement for the Madison Biologics site, ensuring robust sourcing strategies, supplier performance, and contract compliance
  • Serve as the Business Unit owner for Biologics leading procurement initiatives for capital projects and site expansion initiatives
  • Negotiate competitive commercial terms, drive cost optimization, expand spend under contract, and support dual sourcing strategies
  • Partner closely with Site Operations, Finance, and the Global Procurement Organization to implement savings pipelines, manage price changes, and monitor net cost performance
  • Ensure Suppliers adhere to the Terms & Conditions specified on the purchase order and resolves challenges.
  • Conduct supply risk assessments and develop mitigation plans supporting business continuity
  • Minimize impact of supplier shortages by proactively identifying and resolving potential material supply issues.
  • Leverage enterprise-wide volumes, contracts, and supplier relationships to create value across multiple sites
  • Develop pipeline of opportunities (savings, cash flow, growth, other value) for the Site.
  • Leverage and negotiate pricing on combined volumes of purchases at various locations with Suppliers to reduce cost, overheads and improve working capital.
  • Provide regular Value Contribution Reporting to the Site Leadership Team
