About The Position

Royal Electric Company is seeking Procurement Interns for their Sacramento Office location, starting Summer 2026. This internship offers hands-on learning and professional growth opportunities within the Procurement team. Interns will gain experience in building vendor and internal relationships, and learn to use the ERP System for material tracking. This role allows interns to apply their education by assisting the Procurement team with various tasks.

Requirements

• Supply Chain Degree, Construction Management, or related degree.
• Strong Written and Verbal Communication
• Attention to Detail
• Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook
• Familiarity with Microsoft Suite
• Must wear proper PPE while on jobsites.
• Must comply with all safety standards and procedures.
• Sit, stand, and walk during the duration of the workday.
• Will lift, carry, push, pull, kneel, crouch, and reach.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at some times.
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Writing purchase orders in Spectrum Software
• Learning ERP System in Spectrum
• Collaborating with Project Managers and Project Engineers for project needs (On time material delivery, Proof of delivery, Approvals for purchase orders, Providing updates on purchase orders)
• Counting Inventory (PPE, Warehouse Material)
• Matching invoices with purchase orders
