Procurement Intern (Winter 2027)
About The Position
Astranis is hiring a Procurement Intern for Winter 2027. Internships typically last twelve weeks and are hourly roles designed for students currently enrolled at a four-year university. Interns work on meaningful, challenging projects and may contribute to work supporting spacecraft and technology development programs. The Procurement Intern will support the Supply Chain product team in San Francisco, helping with procurement operations and establishing sustainable processes as the company scales. Applicants who have graduated from a four-year university or are enrolled in a graduate program are directed to apply for an Associate role instead.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled at a four-year university.
- Comfortable working in a busy, ever-changing environment and helping bring order to chaos.
- Strong reasoning and analytical abilities.
- Extremely organized and detail-oriented.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks at once and prioritize accordingly.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the United States, or another protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), to comply with U.S. Government space technology export regulations.
Responsibilities
- Work with and support the Supply Chain product team at Astranis in San Francisco.
- Assist with RFQs, purchase orders, and data integrity across systems, ensuring commercial terms are agreed and documented.
- Establish and manage ongoing, sustainable processes to help the company scale.
- Provide operational support for spacecraft and technology development programs as needed.
Benefits
- Base hourly pay of $29.00.
