About The Position

This Analyst is a critical operational and compliance role within Duly's healthcare procurement function. This analyst ensures supply and drug ordering accuracy, inventory health, and price change management — ensuring that clinics and departments across all sites of care are ordering the right products at the right time, in the right quantities, at the right cost.

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of experience in healthcare procurement, pharmacy purchasing, or related healthcare role
  • Working knowledge of healthcare formulary management, par levels, and GPO contract structures
  • Demonstrated ability to work with large data sets to identify anomalies, trends, and actionable insights
  • Experience with Excel, Procurement/ERP platforms, and Contract management skills required
  • Strong analytical skills used to connect operational findings to clinical and financial implications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High attention to detail with a structured, process-oriented approach to monitoring and documentation
  • Understanding of healthcare compliance requirements (e.g. HIPAA, DEA regulations, etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Pharmacy, or a related field

Responsibilities

  • Monitor purchasing activity across clinics and departments to ensure orders align with approved formularies, contracted suppliers, and established clinical protocols.
  • Review daily and weekly ordering data across all sites to identify non-formulary purchases, unauthorized substitutions, or deviations from approved product lists
  • Flag and investigate departments or clinicians ordering outside of established procurement guidelines
  • Monitor purchasing patterns for waste, misuse, stockpiling, or policy non-compliance
  • Partner with clinic managers to educate staff on correct ordering procedures and preferred products
  • Maintain approved product lists, current contracts, and formulary decisions
  • Coordinate with pharmacy teams on controlled substance ordering compliance and report discrepancies
  • Own the integrity of inventory data and par level performance across Duly's clinic and facility network, ensuring that supply levels reflect clinical need without excess waste or stockout risk.
  • Monitor on-hand inventory levels against established par levels for drugs and medical supplies
  • Identify and investigate inventory variances — including overstock, understock, expiring product, and shrinkage — and drive timely resolution with site teams
  • Flag and address high-risk inventory situations, including impending drug shortages
  • Ensure cost increases are evaluated and that the appropriate clinical, financial, and procurement stakeholders take timely action.
  • Monitor supplier pricing feeds, contract amendments, and GPO notifications for price changes
  • Assess the financial impact of pricing changes against current utilization data, contracts, and budgets
  • Coordinate with pharmacy, value analysis, and finance teams to evaluate product substitutions
  • Ensure pricing updates are accurately reflected in procurement systems and order guides
  • Translate procurement, inventory, and pricing data into clear, actionable insights that enable leaders across the organization to make informed decisions quickly.
  • Build and maintain recurring reports and dashboards that track ordering compliance, inventory health, and price change activity across all sites
  • Prepare executive-level summaries of procurement control performance, including exception rates, resolution timelines, and financial impact
  • Identify opportunities to automate or streamline monitoring workflows using available procurement and ERP system capabilities
