At Microsoft, our Cloud Operations + Innovation (CO+I) organization powers the infrastructure behind the world’s fastest-growing AI and cloud platforms. The Datacenter Integration (DCI) Procurement team plays a critical role in enabling predictable delivery of capacity across a rapidly expanding global datacenter portfolio. We are seeking an execution-oriented leader to serve as DCI Contract Manager, responsible for developing, negotiating, and executing procurement contracts that support global data center infrastructure (DCI) equipment and services. This role partners with suppliers, lessors, sourcing teams, engineering, cost, legal, and regional delivery teams to translate commercial requirements into clear, executable agreements that protect Microsoft while enabling speed to capacity. Key responsibilities include drafting and negotiating equipment and lessor contracts, ensuring appropriate commercial terms and risk protections, managing contract execution through signature and purchase order readiness, and resolving contractual issues that could impact delivery. The Contract Manager drives contract quality and cycle-time performance, maintains strong controls and documentation, and proactively identifies opportunities to standardize and simplify contracting. Success in this role requires strong commercial judgment, contract negotiation and writing skills, attention to detail, stakeholder management, and the ability to operate with urgency in a complex, high-growth infrastructure environment. Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond.
