About The Position

Burrow Global Fabrication seeks a detail-oriented Procurement Clerk with materials coordination experience to optimize procurement processes for our steel fabrication operations. The ideal candidate will design and maintain an internal, transparent system for ordering, tracking receiving, inventory, and usage, while coordinating with local Jacksonville suppliers and freight services.

Requirements

3–5 years in procurement/materials coordination experience, preferably in steel fabrication or related industry.
Associates or Bachelor's degree in supply chain/procurement is needed or 7 years of equivalent experience;
Strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and organizational skills.
Advanced MS Excel experience.
Experience with an ERP or inventory systems preferred.
Knowledge of Jacksonville steel suppliers, industrial hardware, and couriers a plus.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills; ability to work with shop floor personnel.

Responsibilities

Manage receiving tickets, purchase orders, and supplier confirmations; ensure accurate data entry and reconciliation of costs.
Coordinate with fabrication shop leads to ensure timely material availability and align with project schedules.
Build and maintain an internal procurement dashboard accessible to management; provide regular status reports.
Create, maintain, and enforce an inventory of all tools, equipment, and supplies; establish a check-out/check-in process for ironworkers.
Tag, track, and reconcile physical inventory; prevent loss and theft; enforce accountability.
Communicate with local steel suppliers, hardware stores, and couriers to source parts and expedite shipments as needed.
Support finance with accurate costing, invoicing, and supplier performance data.
Develop and implement process improvements for inventory control and procurement efficiency.
