About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Administrative Assistant to support multiple functions across all support departments. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring smooth administrative functions within our administration department, facilitating effective communication, and assist with various clerical tasks. This role requires excellent organizational skills, the ability to multitask, and a keen understanding of logistics and warehouse operations. This is a Temp to Hire Position.

Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to the RK Logistics team.
  • Prepare and maintain reports, spreadsheets, and databases relevant to logistics and warehousing activities.
  • Assist with scheduling and coordinating meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements for personnel.
  • Answer and direct phone calls, emails, and other correspondence.
  • Maintain and organize office filing systems, both physical and digital.
  • Order and manage office supplies, ensuring adequate inventory levels.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
  • Prepare meeting agendas, take minutes, and distribute them as necessary.
  • Coordinate logistics for company events, conferences, and other activities.
  • Prepare and edit correspondence, reports, presentations, and other documents.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of all documents and records.
  • Assist with data entry and database management.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications related to all aspects of the department.
  • Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and clients to coordinate shipments and resolve any logistical issues.
  • Facilitate effective communication between the warehouse staff and other departments within the company.
  • Enter and update data into relevant systems accurately and promptly.
  • Generate and distribute regular reports on inventory levels, shipment status, and other key metrics.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, discrepancies, and areas for improvement.
  • Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned.
  • Conduct research and compile information as required for various projects.
  • Provide administrative support to different departments as needed.
