Procurement and Sustainability Coordinator
About The Position
Stampede is looking for a full-time Procurement and Sustainability Coordinator to join our Supply Chain team! If you enjoy working with purchasing, logistics, supplier data, and sustainability initiatives while identifying opportunities to improve cost and efficiency, this could be a great opportunity for you. In this role, you'll support the procurement of indirect materials and services while coordinating logistics activities, supplier compliance, sustainability initiatives, and customer documentation. You'll work cross-functionally to maintain accurate purchasing data, support sourcing initiatives, monitor transportation activities, and help identify cost-saving and operational improvement opportunities.
Requirements
- Ability to analyze purchasing, freight, and sustainability data to identify trends and opportunities.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, and data analysis.
- Strong communication, organization, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- Knowledge of sustainability frameworks, environmental regulations, and certification standards.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, Sustainability, Environmental Science, Finance, or a related field preferred; an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered.
- Working knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and inventory principles preferred.
- Power BI experience is a plus!
Responsibilities
- Support the Purchasing team by creating and maintaining purchase orders.
- Monitor open orders and inventory needs.
- Maintain item and supplier data in the ERP system.
- Resolve invoice discrepancies.
- Coordinate with suppliers on pricing, documentation, shipment status, and delivery commitments.
- Support transportation scheduling, freight reporting, warehouse transfers, and logistics improvement projects.
- Coordinate sustainability and customer compliance initiatives by maintaining supplier certifications.
- Collect and analyze sustainability data.
- Respond to customer documentation requests.
- Support projects focused on waste reduction, recycling, sustainable packaging, and responsible sourcing.
