About The Position

Momentum is seeking a dynamic, growth-minded individual to join our Indirect Procurement team as an Associate Procurement Analyst. This role is part of the Momentum Launch Program, designed for recent graduates, offering a cohort-based early career experience with hands-on training, mentorship, and meaningful work to accelerate growth. The Associate Procurement Analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to source and manage software, professional services, technology, and other third-party goods and services. Responsibilities include supporting sourcing initiatives, supplier management, contract negotiations, and strategic procurement projects while building strong commercial and financial analysis skills. This is a full-time, onsite opportunity based at our Dallas headquarters. The Launch Program provides a comprehensive onboarding experience for recent graduates, equipping participants with essential skills, knowledge, and connections through workplace orientation, team integration, and targeted training sessions. The next cohort is scheduled to begin in June of 2027.

Requirements

  • Graduates in Winter 2026 or Spring 2027 with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Relevant experience through internships, part-time work, or other projects involving procurement, sourcing, commercial analysis, financial modeling, supplier management, or process improvement.

  • Can build and explain quantitative models in Excel, work with imperfect inputs, test assumptions, check outputs, compare scenarios, and turn analysis into a clear recommendation.
  • Uses AI tools thoughtfully and with curiosity to improve the speed, quality, and consistency of work; can evaluate outputs critically and iterate when the first answer is not good enough.
  • Communicates clearly and builds productive relationships with people who have different priorities, expertise, personalities, and work styles.
  • Can manage multiple priorities, switch contexts, and follow through on details in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrates initiative and leadership through work, school, extracurricular activities, or community involvement; seeks feedback and enjoys building better ways of working.

  • Experience with procurement or business systems such as Coupa, NetSuite, or Ironclad is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with stakeholders across Momentum companies to understand business needs and coordinate procurement requests for software, professional services, and other technologies.
  • Build clear, flexible financial models to compare supplier pricing scenarios, including multi-year total cost, tiered or volume-based pricing, consumption assumptions, ramp schedules, discounts, renewals, and price increases.
  • Translate supplier proposals into comparisons and summarize the cost, risk, and business trade-offs for stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Support sourcing events, supplier evaluations, business cases, and contract negotiations by preparing analyses, recommendations, and negotiation materials.
  • Analyze agreement economics and identify savings, cost avoidance, budget impacts, and opportunities to improve commercial terms.
  • Support contract renewal workflows by tracking timelines, gathering requirements, preparing documentation, and coordinating with stakeholders.
  • Engage with new suppliers, help guide them through onboarding, and maintain accurate supplier, contract, pricing, and spend data while collaborating with legal, finance, accounting, and business stakeholders.
  • Use AI and automation tools proactively and responsibly to improve procurement processes and workflows - for example, structuring information, accelerating research and analysis, identifying patterns, documenting processes, and automating repeatable work - while applying sound judgment and following company guidelines.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvements, create reusable models and playbooks, and share what works with the broader Procurement team.
