About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Entry Level or Associate Procurement Agent to join our dynamic team in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma or Tukwila, Washington. The Level 1 or 2 Procurement Agent provides day-to-day procurement and purchasing support for the E7 program, ensuring timely, compliant acquisition of parts, services, and materials.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 0–2 years of procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or administrative experience; internships or co-op experience relevant (Level 1).
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel; experience with ERP or procurement systems a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks in a deadline-driven environment.
  • More than 1 year of experience in negotiating contracts or managing suppliers (Level 2).
  • More than 1 year of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer (Level 2).
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. A “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

  • More than 1 year of experience managing suppliers/vendors to deliver products and services (Level 2).
  • More than 1 year of experience with proposal development and contract negotiations (Level 2).
  • More than 1 year of experience working with U.S. Department of Defense contracts (Level 2).
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher (Level 2).
  • More than 1 year of experience with various contract types for example: Time & Materials, Firm Fixed Price, Cost Plus type Government contracts, etc. (Level 2).

Responsibilities

  • Create purchase orders in the procurement system per E7 program requirements and Boeing procurement policies.
  • Monitor order status, track deliveries, and coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders (engineering, manufacturing, quality, planning) to resolve routine delivery or documentation issues.
  • Support supplier communication and onboarding activities including requesting quotes, confirming specifications, and documenting supplier commitments.
  • Maintain accurate procurement records, update supplier and part data, and ensure documentation meets audit requirements.
  • Support small sourcing actions and assist with basic negotiations under supervision.
  • Assists with continuous review and analysis of demand and supply (Level 1).
  • Supports the sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements (Level 1).
  • Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities (Level 1).
  • Performs continuous review and analysis of demand and supply (Level 2).
  • Prepares and executes proprietary information agreements (Level 2).
  • Supports sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements (Level 2).
  • Communicates performance expectations and metrics to evaluate and monitor supplier performance (Level 2).
