About The Position

Nooter/Eriksen is seeking a Procurement Agent to join the Procurement Team in Fenton, MO. This role is part of a team that is responsible for committing company resources through contracts and agreements for the procurement of goods and services to help the business meet its objectives. The expectation is that this will be a hybrid position depending on business needs. This role offers the opportunity to directly impact the efficiency and reliability of modern power generation systems. In this role, you will be at the forefront of delivering optimized combined cycle plant performance and shaping the future of energy technology. Nooter/Eriksen is an employee-owned company with headquarters in Fenton, MO and Milan, Italy. We specialize in HRSG (Heat Recovery Steam Generator) design, fabrication, equipment, and solutions for clients in the power industry, worldwide.

Requirements

  • BS/BA in Business or a related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred.
  • Proven capabilities within Microsoft Outlook, Teams, Word, SharePoint and Excel.
  • Excellent written and spoken communication, presentation, analytical and critical thinking skills, highly professional, organized, trustworthy team player, with proficiency in English.
  • Ability to read, write, problem-solve, make quick decisions, interpret data and analyze results; effective written and verbal communication is essential.
  • 10% travel (international and domestic)
  • Communicating effectively with people in multiple countries and cultures.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting global sourcing strategies
  • Negotiating agreements
  • Documenting purchase contracts and other agreements
  • Monitoring and engaging with suppliers on performance and improvement opportunities
  • Strategizing for sourcing multiple projects
  • Selecting suppliers for RFQ and purchase orders
  • Documenting procurement decisions
  • Analyzing supplier bids
  • Extracting pertinent data and presenting such data to peers and leaders within N/E in a concise, accurate and professional manner
  • Creating contract correspondence and administering contract changes between N/E and its suppliers
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant N/E procedures ad contract requirements
  • Integrating activities with internal and external customers and suppliers to fulfill contract requirements and reconcile contract issues
