About The Position
Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Entry Level Procurement Agent (Level 1) to join our Contracting team in El Segundo, California. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee. Requirements
- Typically related work experience or relevant military experience.
- Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Experience in supplier management or supply chain management
- Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assists with continuous review and analysis of demand and supply
- Supports the sourcing strategies, negotiations and documenting of contracts and agreements
- Gathers data for supplier performance evaluation and improvement opportunities
