About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Procurement Agent (Level 3) to join our dynamic team in Tukwila, Washington. Candidate must have experience Integrating program, customer, product, and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies. Negotiates price, schedule, and contract terms and conditions. Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements. Candidate must have knowledge in conducting risk, issues, and opportunities management. Manage supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance. Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies.

Requirements

  • More than 5 years of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer
  • More than 5 years of experience drafting, negotiating and executing complex contracts and subcontracts
  • More than 5 years of experience leading proposals, contract terms and conditions development, and negotiation efforts
  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)
  • Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher
  • More than 5 years of experience with Supplier Management or Procurement practices and processes
  • More than 5 years of experience working directly with suppliers or supplier management
  • More than 5 years of experience in proposal development and contract negotiations with U.S. Government Customers
  • Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
