About The Position

Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Procurement Agent (Level 3) to join our Supply Chain Team in either Albuquerque, New Mexico, Kennedy Space Center, Florida or Seal Beach, California. This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options. This position requires the ability to obtain access to a National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) facility. This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An Interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret/SCI Clearance Post Start is required. Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process. Requirements

More than 1 year of experience working with Supplier Management, Supply Chain, and/or Procurement practices and processes
Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship.
An interim and/or final U.S. Top Secret/SCI Clearance Post Start is required.
Must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree or higher
More than 1 year of experience in Supplier Management/ Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer
More than 1 year of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations)

Responsibilities

Integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies
Negotiates pricing and contract terms and conditions
Prepares and executes negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements
Conducts risk, issues and opportunities management
Manages supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery and financial performance
Initiates and executes supplier improvement activities and integrates results into contracting strategies
