About The Position

The Boeing Company’s Boeing Defense, Space & Security organization is hiring an Experienced or Senior Procurement Agent for its team in Saint Charles, Missouri. The role integrates program, customer, product, and in-service strategies into supplier selection, negotiation, and contracting. Responsibilities vary by level: Experienced Level 3 agents negotiate pricing and contract terms, prepare and execute contractual documents, manage risks and supplier performance, and carry out supplier improvement activities. Senior Level 4 agents provide oversight of supplier performance, lead negotiations and supplier performance teams, interpret and enforce contract terms, work with external customers to resolve supplier issues, and contribute to supply-chain process improvements.

The position is expected to be 100% onsite and is for first shift. Travel may be required up to 10% of the time. Applicants must meet U.S. export control requirements as a U.S. Person. Relocation assistance is not available. The position does not require a security clearance and is not safety sensitive. Boeing will not sponsor employment visas. Requirements

• More than 3 years of experience working directly with supplier management.
• More than 3 years of experience drafting, negotiating, and executing complex contracts and subcontracts.
• More than 3 years of experience with FAR (Federal Acquisition Regulations).
• Meet U.S. export control compliance requirements as a U.S. Person.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Experienced Level 3: More than 3 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Senior Level 4: More than 5 years of related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• More than 5 years of experience in Supplier Management/Procurement as a Purchasing Agent or Buyer.
• Experience working on a Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA)-compliant proposal.
• Typically 6 or more years of related work experience or relevant military experience for Experienced Level 3.
• Typically 10 or more years of related work experience or relevant military experience for Senior Level 4.
• An advanced degree is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Integrate program, customer, product, and in-service strategies into source-selection, negotiation, and contracting strategies.
• Negotiate pricing and contract terms and conditions.
• Prepare and execute negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements.
• Conduct risk, issues, and opportunities management.
• Manage supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery, and financial performance.
• Initiate and execute supplier improvement activities and integrate results into contracting strategies.
• Provide oversight and management of supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery, and financial performance.
• Lead negotiation of pricing and contract terms and conditions.
• Prepare and execute negotiation strategies resulting in contractual documents and binding agreements.
• Interpret and enforce contract terms and conditions.
• Consult with external customers to resolve supplier performance issues.
• Lead supplier performance teams to develop strategic supplier solutions across programs and commodities.
• Participate on supply-chain process improvement teams and identify improvement opportunities for potential integration into supplier contract strategies.
