Experienced Procurement Agent
About The Position
Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for an Experienced Procurement Agent (Level 3) to join our T-7A Red Hawk Supply Chain Team in Berkeley, Missouri. This position integrates program, customer, product and in-service strategies into source selection, negotiation and contracting strategies. It involves negotiating pricing and contract terms and conditions, preparing and executing negotiated contractual documents and binding agreements, and conducting risk, issues, and opportunities management. The role also includes managing supply and demand, schedules, supplier quality, delivery, and financial performance, as well as initiating and executing supplier improvement activities and integrating results into contracting strategies.
Requirements
- More than 3 years of experience in supplier management or supply chain management
- Ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. (An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.)
- Must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
- Must meet U.S. export control compliance requirements. To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- More than 3 years of experience in negotiating contracts or managing supplier performance
- More than 3 years of experience negotiating directly with suppliers
- Typically 6 or more years’ related work experience or relevant military experience.
- Advanced degree (e.g. Bachelor, Master, etc.) preferred, but not required.
