Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Basic understanding of consumer loan products, loan documentation, and funding processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, particularly when reviewing documentation and entering data.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple loan files and deadlines.
  • Ability to follow established procedures and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Clear, professional communication skills and a commitment to providing helpful service to members, dealers, and internal partners.

Nice To Haves

  • 1–2 years of banking, loan processing, financial services, or related experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with loan origination and core processing systems preferred, such as Sync1, MeridianLink, or Keystone.

Responsibilities

  • Review consumer loan files to ensure required documentation, conditions, and approvals are complete before funding.
  • Assist with preparing loan documents and verifying loan terms, rates, fees, and borrower information for accuracy.
  • Process routine loan funding transactions, including direct deposits, dealer payments, and check disbursements.
  • Support indirect auto loan processing and funding by obtaining required stipulations and documentation.
  • Complete data entry and system updates in loan origination and core systems to maintain accurate loan records.
  • Identify missing or incomplete documentation and follow up with internal teams, dealers, or members to obtain needed information.
  • Perform basic quality checks on loan files to ensure compliance with established policies and procedures.
  • Assist with lien perfection by ensuring required documentation is completed and forwarded for collateral processing.
  • Respond to internal and external questions related to loan processing and funding in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain organized, accurate, and audit-ready loan files and documentation.
  • Escalate discrepancies, exceptions, or other issues to senior team members as appropriate.
