About The Position

This role involves operating processing equipment, following work orders, and ensuring quality standards are met. The specialist will handle materials, perform inspections, and package finished products. Training and certification for operating forklifts and overhead cranes will be provided. Maintaining a safe and organized work environment is crucial.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to read and understand work orders, instructions, and safety procedures.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in English.
  • Ability to accurately use a tape measure and other measuring tools or willingness to learn.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Nice To Haves

  • Manufacturing, machine-operation, or warehouse experience preferred; willing to train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

  • Set up and operate assigned processing equipment.
  • Load, unload, position, and adjust materials.
  • Follow work orders and customer specifications.
  • Inspect materials to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Accurately use tape measures and other measuring tools.
  • Package, palletize, and band finished materials.
  • Operate forklifts and overhead cranes after completing company-provided training and certification.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Follow safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
  • Immediately report accidents, incidents, and unsafe conditions.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
