About The Position

This posting is for a Processing Specialist I position in Emporia, Kansas. The role operates on a weekday shift from Monday to Thursday, 5:00 am to 3:00 pm. The base pay is $17.00 per hour with an average hourly bonus of $3.10. The qualified candidate will be responsible for reviewing work orders, ensuring the final product meets expectations, and performing all duties safely and efficiently. Requirements

Must pass drug test and background check.
CNC experience.
Must communicate effectively to all departments and employees of the company.
Must show a positive attitude in position.
Computer skills with a knowledge of Microsoft Office and Microsoft Outlook programs.
Complete knowledge of the laser and be able to perform routine cutting and troubleshooting efficiently and effectively.
Must be able to exert 20-50 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or 10-25lbs. of force frequently, and/or 10-20lbs. constantly to move objects.
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

Read blueprints, drawings, and cut lists.
Review work orders from the sales department to verify quantities, specifications, process capabilities, delivery schedule, packaging requirements, and availability.
Ensure that the final product is finished and packaged to company and customer expectations.
Perform all duties in a safe and efficient manner at all times.
Communicate effectively to all departments and employees of the company.
