About The Position

Barilla is seeking a Processing Operator for their Pasta Manufacturing team. This role involves working with advanced manufacturing equipment to transform semolina into pasta products. The operator will oversee key stages of the pasta-making process, ensuring product quality, food safety, and efficient production. The position requires attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred
Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
Food manufacturing experience is a plus
Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Ability to understand and follow production procedures
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as needed

Responsibilities

Operate and monitor automated processing equipment used in pasta production
Set up and install dies to produce various pasta shapes and sizes
Monitor mixing, extrusion, cutting, and drying processes
Load and unload raw materials, including semolina and ingredients
Make process adjustments to maintain product specifications and quality standards
Perform routine equipment inspections and minor troubleshooting
Complete production records and process documentation accurately
Work closely with Quality, Packaging, and Maintenance teams to maximize production efficiency
Follow all food safety, GMP, sanitation, and workplace safety requirements
Assist with product changeovers and equipment cleaning activities
