Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and write, comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, memos and machine display information.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands or fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; walk, climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
  • Frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
  • Specific vision ability is required, including close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust and stay focus.
  • Ability to work in rotation shifts and overtime.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and check raw materials according to Raw Material Pick List and Production Instruction.
  • Transfer raw materials between warehouse storage area and processing area using forklift or pallet jets.
  • Operate machines to dump or pump materials into mixing tanks and mixing.
  • Clean up and move out containers, pallets and trash.
  • Ensure all tools and equipment are properly sanitized and maintain a clean working station.
  • Ensure the use of all Raw Material follows proper FIFO instructions
  • Ensure all documentation related to processing is filled out properly
  • Follow proper HACCP and GMP standards
  • Perform additional assignments assigned by Production Supervisors.
