About The Position

BW Gold is a wholly owned subsidiary of Artemis Gold Inc (“Artemis”). Artemis Gold is a well-financed, growth-oriented gold development company with a strong financial capacity aimed at creating shareholder value through the identification, acquisition, and development of gold properties in mining-friendly jurisdictions. Responsibilities

Demonstrate effective safety leadership by addressing and enforcing BW Golds safety standards, procedures, and safety systems.
Operate and monitor equipment in the Run-of-Mine (ROM) and crushing circuits, including crushers, screens, conveyors, and feeders, to ensure efficient and continuous operation.
Conduct pre-operation checks and inspections of equipment to identify and address any mechanical issues or safety hazards.
Monitor process parameters, including feed rates, crusher settings, and product size, and adjust as needed to optimize circuit performance.
Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and perform minor repairs and adjustments as required to minimize downtime.
Operate light support equipment and perform daily clean up activities.
Coordinate with field operators, maintenance personnel, and supervisors to ensure timely resolution of equipment issues and adherence to production targets.
Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols to ensure safe and efficient operation of equipment and processes.
Perform energy isolation system lock outs.
Provide ground support and communicate with the control room operator.
Work at heights and perform confined space hole watching.
Inspect and change screen panels during outages.
Inspect and operate dust control systems to control plant emissions.
Complete daily work area inspection reports.
