Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Basic math and clear communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare totes for processing by removing covers and opening bags prior to loading tank
  • Repair and or reject totes or other materials not meeting specifications
  • Inspect, clean, and sanitize totes and materials for conformance to specifications
  • Prepare totes for finished product by lining with bags
  • Weigh tote containers to verify ingredient quantities
  • Notify supervisor of production problems and assist in identifying and correcting these problems
  • Fill out necessary paperwork
  • Plant clean-up
  • Hand palletize (stack) finished goods onto pallet
  • Operate sizer
  • Sort and package product, poke stems, cut stems and other tasks on moving lines/belts.
  • Other tasks as assigned
