Requirements

  • At least 21 years of age.
  • Pass a Federal and State criminal history background check.
  • At least a high school diploma/GED.
  • A minimum of five (5) years of management experience.
  • Excellent leadership skills, with steadfast resolve, personal integrity, and business acumen.
  • At least three (3) years of industry experience, preferably packaging or trimming experience.
  • At least one (1) year of METRC experience.
  • At least one (1) year of ERP system experience.
  • At least two (2) years of data entry experience.
  • Willing and able to step over 28-inch-tall rails.
  • Must be able to regularly handle plant materials and use nitrile gloves; this position requires daily exposure to cannabis plants and nitrile gloves.

Responsibilities

  • Overseeing the automated trimming process as well as packaging of finished goods, while partnering with the Cultivation and Harvest Supervisor to complete bucking-related tasks.
  • Consistently executing weekly production schedule.
  • Maintaining compliance in both the trim and packaging room locations, as well as bucking related tasks.
  • Assisting the Cultivation Tech team with operations involving automated mobius trim equipment and the Packaging Team with tasks related to the bagging machine, troubleshooting machine issues, and the accurate entry of all METRC and Acumatica transactions.
  • Guiding the Cultivation Tech and Packaging Team effectively in a high-paced and demanding environment while supervising the day-to-day trim, packaging, and bucking processes in accordance with company standards.
  • Maintain clean working environment and ensure safety and compliance.
  • Responsible for following all standard operating procedures (SOP) operational guidelines, verbal directives, training information, and policies when performing duties.
  • Supervise the Cultivation Tech and Packaging Team to ensure SOPS and quality control are being properly followed.
  • Ensure equipment is clean and calibrated at start of day, between strains, and end of day.
  • Overseeing cleaning of stations and scale machines in accordance with state regulations and company standards.
  • Ensure equipment maintenance and cleaning logs are completed and accurate.
  • Maintain daily production logs and report information to management.
  • Verify start weight and end weight of source package, as well as piece count for all unit-based inventory.
  • Confirm all packaging is compliant prior to transportation; verify that all products are labeled and sealed properly with all required information.
  • Analyze data collected during each phase of the trim and packaging process to prevent divergence.
  • Accurately complete the Harvest Tracker upon the completion of each harvest batch.
  • Track the production speed of individual associates and maintain weekly production goals.
  • Identify issues with the machines in partnership with machine operators and work through solutions in partnership with management and facilities.
  • Assist Cultivation and Harvest Supervisor in supervision and data capture for bucking related processes.
  • Complete all METRC and Acumatica data entry in real time following process completion.
  • Create lab testing batches and R&D samples.
  • Provide direct support for all associates.
  • Foster a culture of professionalism, guiding teams to achieve optimal results.
  • Understand and own every aspect of the team's performance; set targets, drive execution, and hold the team accountable for both individual and team results.
  • Collaborate effectively with the Human Resources Department and appropriate partners to implement and manage the company's policies and procedures.
  • Partner with the Human Resources Department to monitor staff performance, provide timely feedback, along with development goals, assign accountabilities, set objectives, establish priorities, and conduct monthly performance evaluation.
  • Retain and develop top performers by understanding individual's motivations and providing actionable feedback.
  • Addresses low performance quickly, compassionately, and in alignment with company policies.
  • Manage employees' scheduling, basic time off requests, performance reviews, etc.
  • All other duties as necessary.
