Process Technician – Plastics Manufacturing
About The Position
Flexcraft is seeking experienced Process Technicians for its plastics manufacturing operations. This role offers a stable, structured environment where skills are valued. The technician will be responsible for operating and maintaining molding equipment, performing mold changes, startups, and process adjustments, and ensuring quality control. The position involves troubleshooting equipment and process issues, collaborating with the Quality team, completing documentation, and maintaining a clean work area. Requirements
- Experience in manufacturing (plastics strongly preferred)
- Ability to perform setups, adjustments, and troubleshooting independently
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Experience using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and safety-focused
- Someone who takes ownership of their machines and output
Responsibilities
- Monitor machines and keep production running efficiently
- Perform mold changes, startups, and process adjustments
- Troubleshoot equipment, tooling, and process issues
- Catch problems early and correct them before they escalate
- Work with Quality to verify product specs
- Complete documentation and maintain clean, organized work areas
- Support and mentor less experienced team members
