About The Position

We are seeking a skilled Process Technician with experience in plastic injection molding to support production operations. This role is responsible for setting up, troubleshooting, and optimizing injection molding machines to ensure high-quality production, efficiency, and minimal downtime.

Requirements

Prior experience in plastic injection molding (required)
Strong understanding of molding processes and machine operation
Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and process issues
Experience with mold setup and changeovers
Knowledge of quality control standards
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
High attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills

Nice To Haves

Experience with hydraulic and electric injection molding machines
Familiarity with resin types and material handling
Preventive maintenance experience
Technical certification in manufacturing or plastics (a plus)

Responsibilities

Set up, start up, and shut down injection molding machines and related equipment
Perform mold installations, removals, and changeovers safely and efficiently
Adjust machine parameters (temperature, pressure, speed, cycle time) to maintain quality standards
Troubleshoot molding issues such as flash, short shots, warping, and sink marks
Monitor production runs to ensure parts meet quality specifications
Perform basic preventive maintenance on molds and machines
Work closely with quality and production teams to resolve issues
Document process settings, production data, and any adjustments made
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work environment (5S standards)
