In this vital role, you will be responsible for setting-up, modifying, and maintaining process parameters for one-shot and two-shot injection molding processes, troubleshooting injection molding and automation processes in regards to quality, performance, and productivity problems, and maintaining cleanliness, tidiness, and work safety Standards. Your expertise will help maintain efficient processes, uphold safety standards, and deliver precision in every part produced. Requirements

  • Plastic Injection Process: 2 years (Required)
  • Process Technician: 2 years (Required)
  • Injection mold assembly, disassembly, and repair
  • Preventive maintenance (PM) of injection molds
  • Tool and die maintenance
  • Mold troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Mold polishing and finishing techniques
  • Hot runner system maintenance and repair
  • Hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical mold systems knowledge
  • Mold alignment and fitting
  • Mold changeovers and setup support
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and CAD prints
  • Precision measurement and inspection techniques
  • Mold qualification and validation
  • Manual milling machine operation
  • Surface grinding
  • Lathe operation
  • Drill press operation
  • EDM (Electrical Discharge Machining) knowledge
  • Basic CNC machining knowledge
  • Welding, laser welding, or TIG welding for mold repair

  • GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
