Responsible for injection mold changes, startup of new jobs, troubleshooting and resolving process problems, and optimizing machine cycles. The role involves performing the startup and processing of jobs, pulling and setting molds, and verifying process parameters for product specifications. The technician will troubleshoot and remedy solutions that do not meet specifications, non-conformities, and material issues, and ensure proper end-of-run process clearances. Robot setup may be required at certain locations. The technician must verify machines are operating according to standard cycles, allowable scrap, work instructions, and quality plans, and maintain proper housekeeping. Following all established Vaupell policies, standard operating procedures, and safety practices is essential. Other duties may be assigned.
