Requirements

Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility
Ability to perform physical job duties which may include bending, lifting to 50 lbs., kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet and above)
Must be able to operate machinery
Ability to understand and communicate in English (verbal/written)
Basic computer skills
Ability to work overtime including holidays, nights, weekends, or different shifts with advance notice

Nice To Haves

Forklift certified
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience in production or plant environment
Front-end Loader experience

Responsibilities

Operating processing and packaging equipment and backup for various other plant production roles
Monitor bag weights on packaging line scale
Collect samples/perform quality testing
Minor maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment in packaging department
Mobile equipment operation including forklifts/sweeper/front-end loader/etc.
Use of a computer in the processing office to monitor equipment in the building
Operate forklift to empty hoppers and change out full Mini bulk bags and load bulk pneumatic/dump trucks
Perform housekeeping duties in their area and assisting maintenance when required on PM/repair work
Understanding and adhering to all safety policies and procedures
Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
Other duties as assigned
