About The Position

This position is responsible for functioning as a team member of the mill production crew. The Process Technician will execute production process control as directed, assist in machinery maintenance and repair, and work with Lab personnel to ensure quality control protocol is followed. They will maintain mill production area sanitation standards, troubleshoot minor production problems, monitor key indicators for quality, productivity, and utilization, and utilize the IMS and SPC where applicable. The role is responsible for the quality of work within their area and maintaining a clean and orderly work environment. Additionally, the position requires adherence to all Personnel Safety policies/procedures, including the use of proper PPE, and ensuring the safe use of required tools and equipment. It also involves following all Food Safety, Quality Assurance, GMP's, Sanitation and general plant policies/procedures, inspecting products for overall appearance, and communicating with supervisors when non-conforming products are present. The role also requires communicating all safety or environmental issues to supervisors/managers, securing all equipment, and performing general housekeeping duties at the end of the shift, as well as completing necessary paperwork for documenting process parameters and recordkeeping requirements. Open communication is essential to be a team player and perform other tasks as necessary.

Requirements

Responsibilities
