Process Technician

Support wafer and chip production in all areas of the Semiconductor Fab, focusing on chip pick and place. Additional responsibilities include: prepare materials for shipment to customers, assist with general maintenance in the Fab, and assist in waste water treatment operations and hazardous waste management. Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a cleanroom semiconductor wafer Fab
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have direct experience in photolithography, RIE, and vacuum deposition
- Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and procedures closely while offering suggestions for continuous improvement
- Experience with networked PC based computer system
- Must be able to handle small (mm size) die with tweezers with precision
- Attention to details
- Demonstrated ability to follow instructions and procedures closely
- Ability to work independently with minimal guidance from the supervisor on specific tasks
- Work with a high standard of ethics, professionalism, and competence
- Ability to keep the workplace safe, clean, and orderly
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic level of skills in MS Word and MS Excel
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and process procedures
- Willingness to pursue continuous growth learning
- Sitting for extended periods while working on a computer or conducting meetings.
- Use of hands and fingers for typing, writing, and handling documents.
- Occasional lifting of objects or materials up to 20 pounds for administrative tasks.
- Ability to communicate verbally and in writing.
- Mobility within the office environment to attend meetings or interact with colleagues.

- Previous experience in semiconductor die/chip handling highly desirable, but not necessary
Responsibilities
- Support wafer and chip production in all areas of the Semiconductor Fab, focusing on chip pick and place.
- Prepare materials for shipment to customers.
- Assist with general maintenance in the Fab.
- Assist in waste water treatment operations and hazardous waste management.
- Follow the site EHS procedures and Coherent Corp. Corporate EHS standards.
- Execute and maintain ISO 9000, 9001, 14001 and/or other applicable standards that may apply to the relevant roles and responsibilities within the Quality Management System and Environmental Management System.
