About The Position

The Process Technician is responsible for programming and tooling changes on CNC machines (horizontal mills), troubleshooting machining and automation issues, training tool changers, managing projects and kaizen activities, and tracking cycle time and takt time. This role requires a high school diploma or GED equivalent, at least 2 years of experience in CNC machine operating or programming, and the ability to maintain machinery, create monthly kaizens, prepare financial information for the tooling budget, manage and monitor the tooling budget, eliminate scrap, and conduct physical inventory. The position also involves attending necessary meetings and demonstrating strong performance skills in quality, communication, problem-solving, results orientation, prioritizing, attention to detail, and judgment. The technician must be able to work independently and be responsible for timely completion of job duties.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED equivalent
  • 2+ Years of Experience Required in Either CNC Machine Operating or Programming
  • Ability to program and tool change CNC machines (horizontal mills)
  • Ability to troubleshoot machining issues
  • Ability to troubleshoot robots and automation
  • Ability to train and provide direction to tool changers
