Requirements
- Minimum three years in respective Blow molding or Injection molding required, prefer application on ALPLA equipment
- Experienced in either Toolmaking, Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic systems preferred
- Able to work in team environment
- Able to train technical personnel, Train the Trainer certification
- Effectively manages time as a resource; gives balanced attention to appropriate long-term and short-term priorities
- Must have flexible work availability
- Ability to prioritize, plan and execute duties with minimal supervision
- Good Communication Skills
Responsibilities
- Manage the performance, quality, efficiency and reliability of all molding machines in the Molding Department.
- Identify and monitor critical parameters to ensure all assigned machines are operating safely, efficiently and reliably, according to recommended operating guidelines
- Ensure quality product is being produced at all times from the Process
- Ensure process is optimized to the fullest extent
- When applicable, ensure all raw materials required are available and defect free before being processed
- Identify, monitor, and report inconsistencies in above areas for all shifts not worked and create and implement corrective action plans to overcome discrepancies
- Make minor repairs to molds and molding molding equipment
- Supervising orderliness, cleanliness and working order of the assigned machines and tools
- Assist the Production Manager in implementing required training for Machine Operators
