About The Position

Our Colorado Springs site is seeking a Process Technician to join our Processing team. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in ensuring smooth and efficient manufacturing workflows by overseeing material flow, supporting process reliability, and maintaining accurate documentation throughout the production lifecycle. Process Technicians ensure consistent product manufacturing by overseeing and maintaining production machine operations. You will implement production improvements and provide production support, sharing actionable solutions with other teams and working closely with Manufacturing Engineers to analyze production data and uncover trends.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • At least 3-7 years of process technician or related experience preferred
  • Experience supporting production equipment, process troubleshooting, or technical manufacturing operations preferred
  • Demonstrated problemsolving and troubleshooting skills in a manufacturing environment
  • Basic computer proficiency, including email, data entry, and Excel
  • Ability to work safely around machinery, chemicals, and material‑handling equipment
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on safety and quality compliance
  • Flexibility to work any shift needed to support production requirements
  • Ability to read and understand work instructions, standard operating procedures, routings, and technical documentation
  • Ability to perform basic math calculations (measurements, counts, conversions) required for manufacturing tasks
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move materials up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to stand and walk for the duration of the shift
  • Ability to climb ladders and work in industrial or manufacturing environments
  • Visual acuity to perform inspections, read documentation, and view data on computer screens
  • Ability to operate hand tools, fixtures, and equipment requiring manual dexterity and fine motor skills
  • Ability to safely work at heights, including climbing ladders or accessing elevated platforms
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as business needs require
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks, including bending, reaching, pinching, grasping, and twisting

Responsibilities

  • Support engineering and manufacturing teams by improving product manufacturability, assisting with prototypes, and helping develop fixtures and workflow layouts
  • Troubleshoot production machine failures and execute remedial actions to minimize halted operations
  • Contribute to cost‑reduction and process‑improvement efforts while accurately documenting updates to processes, instructions, and routings
  • Deliver training for operators and technicians to support onboarding, skill development, and team readiness.
  • Lead or assist with continuous improvement projects using data to identify opportunities and implement solutions.
  • Create and maintain clear documentation for key processes to ensure knowledge of retention and consistency.
  • Inspect products, address deviations, and escalate quality issues while adhering to safety, ISO, and Entegris quality standards.
  • Ensures work instructions, process guides, and routing documentation remain aligned with current manufacturing practices and departmental standards
  • Participate in 5S, Kaizen, and other activities focused on improving quality, efficiency, and workflow.
  • Maintain a clean, safe work environment, follow PPE requirements, and promptly report safety concerns
