About The Position

The Process Technician Level I is responsible for setting up, removing, starting up, shutting down, and troubleshooting injection molds and related equipment for the operation of molding machines. This role involves monitoring cycle times and scrap reduction in collaboration with the Production Lead, operating a forklift and bridge crane for mold transportation, and adhering to safety policies. The technician is also responsible for maintaining a clean and organized work area, tools, supplies, and equipment.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or Equivalent.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Excellent attendance record.
• Ability to work safely and with minimal supervision.
• Ability to clearly communicate and interact with all levels of personnel professionally.
• Ability to follow written and verbal directions and complete work independently.
• Ability to adhere to workplace rules.
• Basic computer skills and understanding.

Responsibilities

• Setting up, removing injection molds, and related equipment for the operation of the molding machine.
• Starting up, shutting down, and troubleshooting injection molding machines.
• Placing molds and support equipment in assigned locations.
• Performing line clearances during mold changes.
• Monitoring cycle times and scrap reduction together with Production Lead.
• Operating forklift and bridge crane for mold transportation.
• Adhering to safety policies and striving to maintain our outstanding safety record.
• Keeping work area, tools, supplies and equipment clean and organized.
• Performing other job-related and department-related duties as assigned.
