About The Position

Junchuang North America, Inc., established in 2023 in Fort Worth, Texas, serves as the company’s North America headquarters. Its parent company, Suzhou Junchuang Auto Technologies, established in June 2005, is headquartered in Mudu Town, China. This role operates within a high-tech plastic injection molding facility.

Requirements

  • 1-5 years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment, preferably in a role related to process technology or a similar field.
  • Understanding of Manufacturing Processes: Knowledge of molding processes, machine operations, and production workflows specific to the automotive industry.
  • Familiarity with Process Control Systems: Ability to work with systems that monitor and control manufacturing processes, such as SCADA, PLCs, or similar technologies.
  • Troubleshooting Skills: Strong skills in diagnosing and resolving technical issues with machinery and processes, particularly those related to injection molding or other plastics processes.
  • Quality Assurance: Understanding of quality control principles and practices to ensure product standards are met.
  • Proficiency in CAD Software: Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics using CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
  • Familiarity with Manufacturing Software: Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) or manufacturing execution systems (MES).
  • Basic Office Software Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for documentation and reporting
  • Experience in leading small teams or projects, including coordination of tasks and delegation of responsibilities.
  • Ability to train and mentor junior technicians or apprentices
  • Ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for creating reports, documentation, and presentations.

Nice To Haves

  • A degree in fields such as Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related discipline can be advantageous.
  • Certified Manufacturing Technician (CMT): A certification that validates a candidate's knowledge of manufacturing processes and standards.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt or Lean Manufacturing Certification: Preferred for candidates involved in process optimization and continuous improvement.
  • Injection Molding Certification: Certifications from organizations such as RJG or Paulson Training Programs can demonstrate proficiency in molding processes.

Responsibilities

  • Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe
  • Work with engineering-grade resins
  • Perform basic maintenance on tools and molds
  • Change colors and materials as scheduled
  • Follow quality control and safety procedures
  • Help meet production deadlines and resolve delays
  • Assist in finding and fixing causes of mold/tool damage
  • Troubleshoot injection molding issues
