About The Position

Operates mixing machine to blend ingredients into compounds for processing. This role involves verifying ingredients, loading them into the mixing tank, starting and adjusting the machine, and ensuring the mixture reaches the desired consistency before unloading. The position also requires cleaning and sanitizing equipment and may involve performing duties of other roles in their absence. The job requires adherence to safety procedures and productivity standards.

Requirements

• Must be able to speak, read and write in English.

Responsibilities

• Verifies ingredients prior to mixing batches.
• Loads ingredients into mixing tank and/or blender.
• Starts machine and adjusts valves and devices in mixing chamber to aid in blending and densifying mixture.
• Verifies the In-Process Spec sheet and production paperwork is being followed.
• Uses tablet to ensure production goals are successfully being met.
• Operates machine until mixture reaches desired consistency and turns lever or pushes button to unload mixture into kettles, pick system, totes, drums, and/or hoppers.
• Cleans and sanitizes mixing tanks, kettles, pick system, pumps, pipes, blender, and/or hopper.
• Performs job duties of the Total Quality Lead and other Process Techs in their absence.
