About The Position

The Crusher Operations Supervisor leads safe, efficient, and productive crushing operations while fostering a strong safety-first culture. This role is responsible for coordinating personnel, production activities, quality standards, and maintenance communication to achieve operational goals. The position is safety-sensitive and reports directly to the Crusher Operations General Foreman.

Requirements

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in crushing, screening, conveying, and stacking operations.
  • 3 to 5 years of leadership or supervisory experience in a mining or industrial environment.
  • Knowledge of metallurgical processes, environmental compliance requirements, and quality control practices.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal, leadership, and team-building abilities.
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Demonstrated commitment to high standards of safety, quality, and performance.
  • Professional presence with the ability to effectively interact with employees, contractors, and management.
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently while leading a team.
  • Results-driven with a strong focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to lead initiatives, manage priorities, and drive projects to successful completion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and Human-Machine Interface (HMI) systems.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and oversee shift operations of the crushing, screening, conveying, and stacking systems at a gold and silver mining operation.
  • Supervise and support personnel performing day-to-day crusher operations, ensuring work is completed safely and efficiently.
  • Plan, assign, and coordinate daily activities to meet production goals and operational targets.
  • Monitor quality assurance and quality control processes to ensure consistent production performance and product quality.
  • Collaborate closely with maintenance personnel to identify equipment issues and coordinate scheduled maintenance activities.
  • Perform minor equipment troubleshooting and repairs as needed to support operational continuity.
  • Promote and maintain a zero-incident safety culture through active leadership, routine safety training, and regular safety meetings.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, management, and cross-functional teams regarding operational performance, priorities, and challenges.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of 5 to 7 employees, fostering accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
