About The Position

Transocean is seeking a Process Specialist for its Technical Services Group, focused on driving disciplined execution of supplier quality processes. This role is responsible for Preproduction Kickoff Meetings (PPKOM) and Supplier Nonconformance (MSN) management to ensure alignment, defect prevention, and timely resolution of quality issues. The Process Specialist will lead structured technical meetings, capture documentation, and track actions and decisions. They will manage supplier nonconformances, investigations, root cause analysis, corrective actions, and performance metrics to enhance supplier accountability and continuous improvement. Proficiency in Power BI and PowerApps is required to improve data visibility and automate workflows. Success requires strong organizational discipline, a proactive mindset, and the ability to hold stakeholders and suppliers accountable.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in quality, manufacturing, quality systems, or operations.
• Experience leading cross-functional alignments.
• Experience managing nonconformance investigations.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented with strong process discipline.
• Demonstrated ability to lead structured meetings, document outcomes, and drive actions to completion.
• Experience managing supplier quality processes, including nonconformance resolution, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Strong ability to track actions and hold stakeholders accountable.
• Data-driven mindset with experience using tools such as Power BI (or similar) to track performance and drive decisions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to clearly communicate expectations, influence outcomes, and work across teams.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• 3-5 years of experience in supplier quality, manufacturing, quality systems, or operations, with demonstrated experience in driving process execution, facilitating structured meetings, coordinating cross-functional activities, and resolving supplier-related issues.
• Exposure to workflow automation tools (e.g., PowerApps) is a plus.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement (Lean, Six Sigma) is a plus.
• Proven ability to lead cross-functional and supplier engagements, ensuring alignment and execution of deliverables.
• Strong capability in data analytics and reporting, including Power BI dashboards and PowerApps workflow solutions.
• Proven ability to influence and drive accountability across internal stakeholders and suppliers, ensuring commitments are met.
• Solution-oriented, process-driven execution.
• Familiarity with manufacturing processes and supplier performance management is advantageous.
• Knowledge of industry standards is a plus.
